In Honor of Those Who Perished on 9/11

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

I remember waking up to the news of tower one crashing down.

I remember watching those brave men with fire hoses rushing up the stairs of tower two.

I remember bodies falling from smoke filled windows.

I remember ash covered women emerging from the gray haze.

I remember bending my knee in church and praying.

Never forget.

What Would You Do With 30 Days to Live?

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Today I had a friend who just had 5 valves in his heart bypassed. He survived.

But these kind of experiences make me think about my life.

So I have two very important questions for you:

1. If you found out you only had 30 more days to live, what would you do/want to accomplish?

2. Perhaps more importantly, why aren’t you doing those things now?

I’d like to hear your response.

What if there were no stop signs.

What if a corporation (perhaps one of your clients or your company) was tasked with coming up with the “new” stop sign.

Watch this really funny video!

Ever been on a project like this? I swear this is one of my old clients!

Are you busier than normal?

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

My days seem to be getting shorter and the “to do” list keeps growing!

For the last few weeks I feel like I have been running in overdrive. No time to relax.

No time to write on this blog. Little time to Twitter.

Certainly no time to read. Not other blogs, not the newspaper, not the magazines piling in my office.

Am I alone? Are these times ultra-busy with no end in sight?

I thought the computer was supposed to simplify our lives??

It only seems to make things worse.

Here’s an interesting story about an experience I had today. (more…)
