By Michael Stelzner

Ok folks…

Take a look at the picture here.

Your task: Create a killer caption for this image.

I would like to reward the person who comes up with the best caption by giving him or her a free copy of my book Writing White Papers: How to Capture Readers and Keep Them Engaged in e-book format.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Congratulations to Jim Lodico.

His winning caption is:

After months of study, scientists finally prove that when thrown from an airplane, failed banking CEOs accelerate at the precisely the same rate of speed.

Honorable mention:

Stephanie Tilton, “This year’s salary cap is being modeled by former Bank of America exec John Thain, Goldman Sachs’ Lloyd Blankfein, and Citigroup director Robert Rubin.”

Great contributions EVERYONE!

  • Next time, take a leap outside the box. Thanks
  • So that`s what happened to those 3 bank executives they gave massive payouts to.
  • My shot..

    "I can't see where I am going.."
  • I can't think of anything funny or catchy now because I'm soooo disoriented (or I'm not just that good at all). Hahahah. But people do think up funny stuff especially when it's CEO related. ;P
  • These are very clever and funny, congratulations to Jim. And Stephanie's was good too. I always like these caption contests. It's funny that both of the top quotes were about the banking execs, I guess that's what people are thinking about these days.
  • Great stuff, i never get tired of these kinds of posts, good work jim, i do love ceo violence when its warranted. i cant wait for the next one.

Tom, Dick and Harry were praised for their insights into letting some light in. They were promoted to Vice Presidents of Creative and are now applying their new way of thinking to all things corporate. John (not pictured) was fired for thinking too far out of the box. He is now president of his own Creative Comapny.

Where would you rather work, a company that promotes creative thinking as long as it is still within the structure of the box, or one that appreciates thinking outside the box? When you make the decision to leave the safety of the box behind, give us a call. John did and look where he has gotten to.
  • How about:
