4 Halloween Marketing Lessons
By Michael Stelzner
For the past few years I have been writing about what businesses and writers can learn from Halloween.
So for the third year, I’d like to share some marketing tips that stem from Halloween:
- Treat them like family: Although complete strangers are knocking on your door, treat them like family and they’ll remember you.
- Give unconditionally: Giving without any expected return can actually bring more to your business than you realize. Try going over the top with prospects and they will hold you in high esteem.
- Be nice: Don’t scare people away from your door or they may never return.
- A bonus: Remember that the rewards are not to be ate in a single sitting.
Ding Dong: What are some other lessons we marketers OR writers can learn from Halloween?

Mike:
Delivering good services without any return always brings more people closer to you than ever. That is what you call to be nice.

I like the way you made Halloween (which should be a scary season) sound like Christmas. Yes, giving without expecting something in return is a good business technique. Customers will always remember your warmth and will come back to you again and again and again…

It should be noted that the more you share about YOURSELF with your audience the more they will feel closer to you and feel as if they “know” you. So, from this standpoint, you can create that “family” like atmosphere you are talking about here by simply doing this…I have found it works wonders with me and my list.
