But I won't usually let that go on very long. There's only so much hiding you can do when you run your own business. My next reaction is to get out there and embrace it. Or take off my coat and let myself get soaked. Or fight it. Or wrestle it to the ground until it screams "uncle." (To change metaphors mid-thought.) Today it's snowing/raining/sleeting here in Boston. Great day to stay indoors and dig in to fight the current demon looking over my shoulder! Mike,

What a great reason to stay in and write! So perhaps in Oregonian's case, the question would be, "How do you handle sunshine? Do you embrace it or does it freak you out?" :) Honestly, sometimes the sunshine does bug me. When I lived in Colorado it was sunny all the darn time. That really got on my nerves. My favorite time there was in the winter, during snow storms. In fact, today we had a storm and I sported my rain pants for the first time in years. They work great! Especially when you have two really muddy dogs. This probably also describes how I handle business bumps.
