Congratulations on a great blog. I’ve tried my own, “The Savvy Side of Internet Marketing”, but simply can’t keep it up.

Making occassional postings on Writing White Papers is “write” up my alley. I enjoy sharing my B2B experience gained through marketing stints with ADP, Siebel Systems, Varsity Logistics and SearchForce. I currently manage all content for www.business-software.com and www.crm-buzz.com, including a number of white papers.

As the president of Savvy Internet Marketing, (www.savvvyinternetmarketing.com) I consult and speak on B2B marketing, where I focus on the latest online marketing tactics, including lead generation. If you think I would bring value to your readers through guest postings, please contact me.

Hi Folks;

Just wanted you to know that I have picked two of you as guest bloggers:

http://www.techsavvymarketer.com/

http://getpaidtowriteonline.com/

The considerations for selection were based on the following:

1. Experience blogging on a regular basis
2. Topical experience
3. My assessment of your existing blog posts
4. A close match to interests of my readers

For those of you not selected, it by no means does not mean you are anything but excellent writers. Many of you are really talented, I just did not see the best fit topically.

Thank you to everyone!

Michael,

What an incredible offer. Either you're an angel with a heart of gold or you're running out of topics. Hmmm?? ;)

I currently enjoy employment at a document services and production company (14+ years) where we specialize in working with small business owners to develop lead-generation programs that work! This is done in cooperation with my other company, MarketingMeasure, through which we provide additional marketing related services not offered in my "day job".

I've written a sales training column for over 5 years for one of the nations largest franchise chains and have participated extensively in their sales training seminars for over 10 years. Providing sales training to other companies in the area is also something I'm becoming involved in this year.

Both of my sons have recently entered the workforce and are employed at the same firm I am and are both doing sales. That should provide interesting fodder for many future posts! Or possibly motive for manslaughter.

In addition to that I/we have 3 blogs all intended to provide value to the small business owner, and a weekly email newsletter (that we're just about ready to kick off), all of which keep us very busy.

The topic of "networking" (done properly) is also near and dear to my heart if that's of interest to you and your readership. Other points of interest about my background that provide unique views on various topics include:

*I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia's Web Analytics program. It is developed and sponsord by the WAA, the Web Analytics Association in Washington D.C., and delivered through the UBC.

*Recently completed a course on the proper and scientific development of landing pages for use within marketing campaigns and am about to begin a program on web page testing.

*And of course I have a weiner dog named "Chopper". Probably should have led with that.

If it helps I'll even say I saw Elvis once; dancing with Bigfoot, but only if it helps. Just call me.

Hey Michael,

I read better than I write. How about a guest "reader"? Since I can't write worth a flip, writing would probably be out of the question.

I told my wife I wanted to write a children's book so I could share my middle age imagination, she said it better be an e-book so they could run spell check. Not wanting to unduly influence the reading capability of an entire generation-I acquiesced.

Anyway, just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how much I enjoy reading this blog. Continued success and keep up the good work.

Hi Michael,

I am interested in being a guest blogger. My area of specialty is marketing and market research.

I write about how to use practical market research tools to better understand your audiences and their needs/interests. The result? More effective communication and better outcomes.

Market research can also be used quite effectively within a white paper. White papers that incorporate sound research findings (such as, from surveys, interviews, and focus groups) to make their case are more compelling than those that don't.

If this type of post is of interest to you, I would be happy to share writing samples. I've written many articles on this topic for various publications and am the co-author of an award-winning book on the use of market research to develop effective business strategies.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Michaela

P.S. I attended your white paper writing course in San Diego. It was terrific!

Hey Michael,

since I suspect that many of your readers are using Pay-Per-Click traffic to give visibility to their white papers, they may be interested in strategies to lower their PPC costs and increase the conversion rate of their landing pages.

If you need this kind of content, I am more than willing to help you out.
