Hello - love your site, and find it very informative.

I would definitely like to nominate the blogsite “Marketing Revisited” (see www.marketingrevisited.com).

The great thing about the site is that a lot of the ideas/notions presented are unique, and not the re-hashed stuff you find over the web. Very well written, and a must-read for anyone, from novice marketers to the pros. I find great value and depth in every read.

  4. Craig Pepple Says:

I review a good number of blogs daily. Most of which I scan through for snippets of fresh thoughts and idea’s. One that I find myself reading in its completeness is www.marketingrevisited.com. Tom hits subjects with a fresh angle worth spending the time to stop and study his unique viewpoints. Please except my nomination for my favorite marketing blog www.marketingrevisited.com.

  5. Melissa Watkins Says:

I frequent the blog www.marketingrevisited.com for it’s unique and useful content and would like to recommend this blog as my favorite marketing blog. I especially find interesting Tom’s analysis of SEO and internet marketing versus the ROI of more traditional advertising methods.

  6. Nettie Hartsock Says:

I nominate Lois Kelly’s outstanding blog on all things marketing - http://blog.foghound.com/ - I espescially like Lois’ insight in how to relate authentically as marketers to your customers.

  7. David Meerman Scott Says:

    Thanks Dianna.

Call me a suckup if you want to. But this blog is pretty darn good. So I nominate Writing White Papers blog http://www.writingwhitepapers.com/blog/index.php

    David

I love Stephanie Diamond’s The Marketing Message blog (http://stephaniediamond.typepad.com/marketingmessage/). It’s full of useful and timely tips, written in a concise, easy-to-read manner. Lots of real practical tips.

  9. Joe Abusamra Says:

  12. Patsi Krakoff, The Blog Squad Says:

My partner Denise Wakeman has a great marketing blog at www.biztipsblog.com, with great tips. But she’s my partner, so I’m afraid this is a bit self-serving. Oh, what the heck…

Can I nominate our blog about blog marketing? Well, now I’m going for all-out self-promo here… http://www.BuildaBetterBlog.com.

  13. Marc Barker Says:

Sorry, this is the URL that I recommend:
    http://www.marketingmessageblog.com

  14. Stephanie Diamond Says:

Thanks for the votes! Also, I agree that David’s, www.webinknow.com deserves a nod.

  15. Mike O'Sullivan Says:

Not sure if a nomination for Dianna’s blog is implied — if not here you go: www.marcom-writer-blog.com.

A terrific blog which has not yet been nominated and which I consider essential reading for B2B marketing pros is Direct Connections, written by an agency called Connect Direct.

    URL is http://connectdirect.wordpress.com/

Why I like it: They help readers better understand what IS effective B2B marketing communication and what isn’t. To do that they, on the one hand, provide detailed critiques, analyses, and success stories. On the other, they provide advice on how to think about overall marketing communication strategy (i.e., how to better see the forest for the trees!).

  16. Nettie Hartsock Says:

    I nominate Toby Bloomberg’s blog - http://bloombergmarketing.blogs.com/ .

  17. Nettie Hartsock Says:

    I also nominate Geoff Livingston’s blog - http://www.livingstonbuzz.com/blog/ , and now I’m done!

To do that they, on the one hand, provide *detailed* critiques, analyses, and success stories. On the other, they provide advice on how to think about overall marketing communication strategy (i.e., how to better see the forest for the trees!).

  19. Toby Says:

Nettie - thanks for the honor. I’d like to second and nominate Geoff Livingston’s blog - http://www.livingstonbuzz.com/blog/ .

  20. Dianna Huff Says:

Mike O, thanks for the nod. I’m honored.

  21. Douglas Karr Says:

    The Marketing Technology Blog

With special focus on social media and all thing Web 2.0 it’s always timely, relevant and bursting with useful info for his loyal readers.

Both offer excellent commentary, discussion and best of all useable content for marketers.

  28. Steve Slaunwhite Says:

“The Marcom Strategist” by Dianna Huff. Very practical information. And she’s not afraid to state her opinion… even if it ruffles a few feathers.

  29. Bruce Says:

I nominate Next Level Biz Tips by Denise Wakeman. Denises books started my blogging career. Maybe I shouldn’t attribute it to her until I have had more success. I receive here info via rss and look forward to it.

  30. Alpesh Nakar Says:

I nominate Douglas Karr’s Marketing and Technology blog - an awesome mix of marketing technology with real world implementation.

    It is http://douglaskarr.com

    Cheers!

  31. Lyn Davis Says:

I’d like to recommend a non US blog - is that OK?

I read Krishna De’s blog called Biz Growth News http://www.bizgrowthnews.com and it is a great resource both in terms of conecting you to research in the US and Europe but also on the important aspects of how to engage with consumers using social media.

She presents these concepts in a really practical, business focused and commercial way.

And what is especially relevant is that she covers branding from three aspects which most marketers forget to do - your corporate brand, your employer brand and your personal brand as a leader.

  32. Michael Stelzner Says:

Keep the nominations coming and help get out the word by posting about this contest on your blog.

As a technology PR/marketing specialist, I find a high value and informational content on Patrick Fetterman’s Lean Marketing NO MUDA Blog http://www.patrickfetterman.com/, and wish to enter his blog for nomination.

For example, Patrick answers these and other key questions:

    1) How does marketing relate to lean manufacturing, rapid application development, and the “on-demand” or software-as-a-service delivery model?

    2) How does one develop a meaningful and effective marketing plan?

    3) What is the effect of cognitive dissonance on marketing?

  46. Sandra Dowker Says:

He knows information marketing better than anyone.

  53. Steve Gogolak Says:

I’ve been following Rob Everton’s blog, www.awidernet.com since it’s inception. Rob’s tongue-in-cheek humor seeps through the screen as he takes real marketing advice and spins it back into reality. It is, for my purposes, one of the more practical and useful blogs that I read.
