Well — it’s actually pretty amusing! It’s really a spoof on all those late-night infomercials for that blender that claims to blend anything.
For all I know the iphone claims to be near indestructible? Which would just layer on the irony.
Only one iphone was harmed in the filming of this video.

Actually, it’s not a spoof.
Blendtec really does claim that they’re blender can blend anything. And they’ve capitalized on viral marketing by making a series of videos that they host on WillItBlend.com, and that people post and share on YouTube.
People stay tuned because they’re curious what will be blended next!

Sorry… “their”, not “they’re” (in the 2nd paragraph).
Michael, I promise to try and read my posts before submitting from now on!

Company has boring product.
Company hires talented marketing brain.
Result = Fantastic viral marketing & huge leap in brand recognition (and desire!)
Great piece of marketing, thanks for highlighting it, Michael.

I enjoy the video it’s not all the time you get to see an iphone get blended. I liked the black dust. and the only other thing left is a peace of metal! A great video!

Ah — I see. I didn’t realize this was the actual company that makes those blenders. I retract my spoof statement.
In that case I agree that it’s a great video! If that thing can frappe an iphone, just think how effortlessly it will turn my frozen berries into a smoothie!

I’ve been drooling for this thingy for a couple of weeks now and this guy blends it. Not cool, not cool at all.
BTW, i never understood why Apple didn’t bring this to Europe in the same time it brought it to America…
