If your goal is to have people read your white papers who “do not know you,” you should consider white paper syndication.

MarketingSherpa released a recent report entitled, “How to Syndicate Your White Paper Successfully — Comprehensive Directory of Syndicators — Part II.”

This report includes a brief examination of available content syndication sites, including:

    Hi Mike,
This is a great article. How do I find out if my topic is popular? I have a client that wants to generate a paper on content management. Do I simply look at the syndication sites and see if people are posting those kinds of papers?
  • Tim - I think that'd be the place to start. However you do not need a popular topic to be successful.
  • Charles - See http://www.bnet.com/whitepapers.html and look under the operations section. There are a bunch of legal categories. - Mike
  • Just out of curiosity, is there any place to syndicate legal white papers? Is there even a significant market for writing white papers based upon the law?
  • Patsi - Thanks for stopping in! All my best! - Mike
  • Thanks, Michael for these resources. I've posted about this over on my blog today.
