  • How does a company measure effectiveness of its white papers? Any metrics available?
  • Thanks a lot Michael!
  • Hey Mike;

  • Unfortunately I don't have a background that I can draw from in order to target a niche. As far as my writing samples go, I think they're pretty good, but I'm not a good judge of my own work. I do have a website with some samples, mikesieber.com, you can see if they're worth anything.
  • Mike,
    Do you have a niche of specialist expertise? Do you have good writing samples?
    Both of those helped me get started.
  • As someone who is just getting into the copywriting biz, I'm very interested in finding a niche and white papers have recently caught my eye. I'd really like to know how one, who is starting out, approaches clients in order to get work.
  • Thanks Susan!
  • I'm interested in learning how other white paper writers price their work.

    Sometimes I price by the hour, when the scope of the project isn't well-defined.

    Otherwise, my pricing is based on how long I think the paper will take to research and write.

    Also, my financial expertise means that I can charge a premium over other writers tackling the same topics.
