Thanks for the mention! And thanks for the tip. I'm afraid that I'm a victim of TypePad's default for posting images. I'll have to figure out how to over-ride that for my images from now on.

Cheers, David

Brian;

If you want to open that comment floodgate any further than it already is, here is the WordPress plugin to autonotify comments:

Thanks Michael!

Mike, if I had a designer that was worth a damn, I'd have that feature and a whole lot of other things he owes me.

You know these kids though... :)

Nah ! Ol' BC loves all us Copyblogger kool-aid drinkers and the way we build up his blogger-ego !

Just kiddin, BC, just kidding.

Sometimes I forget where I was part of a conversation and the ability to subscibe keeps me alert to more great info.

After all, a lot of the time, better info comes from the comments than in the original post.

And sometimes a comment on a month old post is exactly the info we need to solve our problems. Without that plugin, we're left hanging.

Hey Mike!

I agree about that subscribe to comments option. I recently added that to my blog and it most certainly does engaged a discussion. Maybe Brian does not need it considering all the comments he gets. Let's hope he does not turn out like Godin and shut the comments down.

I drink the Copyblogger koolaid, too, so this was a great choice.

He does need one thing on his blog, though. A subscribe to comments plugin ( hint, hint ).

DMScott and the way he did his free downloadable eproducts has been another inspiration. Those two ebooks were as well constructed as any I've ever seen.

Sorry to say Jill and almost all of the DTMarketing blogs suffer from the same disease - the conversation's a bit chilly and they do not respond to comments, nor do they try to keep a conversation going. They're more used to writing magazine style and haven't really picked up the nuances of blogging. I've unsubscribed from the whole channel of their blogs.
