Blogtipping - September Tippers

BlogTippingEaston Ellsworth of BusinessBlogWire has started a monthly tradition called BlogTipping. No we are not sneaking in and tipping blogs over. This is much better than blog vandalism. It is honoring fellow bloggers with three complements and one tip. So here we go:

Bob Bly’s Blog: Bob is a king in the world of copywriting. Things I like about Bob and his blog:

  1. He asks provocative questions.
  2. He is very good about responding to comments.
  3. He finds time to blog while he cranks out 3 or more book each year! (go Bob!)

Tip: It would be nice if you snazzed up your blog with some images.

MarketingProfs DailyFix: This is Ann Handley’s baby and it is a great blog. It features a whole panel of marketing bloggers. Things I like about this blog:

  1. It is updated daily (thus the name).
  2. It’s content is always thought provoking.
  3. It has little pictures of all the bloggers. :)

Tip: It’s hard to think of improvements. Maybe you have too many blogger personalities.

Successful Blog: This blog is the heart and soul of Liz Struass (also known as ME Strauss). Liz is passionate about her blog and it is simply excellent. Things I like about this blog:

  1. The articles on writing are outstanding and they keep coming.
  2. Liz recognizes and encourages new bloggers regularly.
  3. The community Liz has built is to be commended.

Tip: Try some different font colors to make the site easier on the eyes.

    Thank you. I'm saving my pennies, if I earn some for a new blog design to live up to the lovely header Cat gave me for my birthday. I'm leery of making too may changes before that. I know how easily I've mucked things up in the past. :)

    I do so appreciate the nice things you've noticed and share about my blog. And to put in me in such company alone is such an honor. Thank you again for bloggtipping me this month.

  • Thanks for goin' blogtippin' with me this month, Michael. It's fun to find people this way that I might never have otherwise. Liz and I go way back (okay, a few months), but I didn't recognize the other two blogtippees here. So I'm excited to get to know them and you as well.

    Nice layout, by the way. Is this blog just a couple months old? Seems like you've had prior writing experience ... :)
